About David Ladon:

“Farmer Dave” Ladon is a musician, educator, producer, and arts-advocate based in Aurora, CO. As the frontman of the kindie-rock bandAnimal Farm and the creator and star of the PBS seriesFarmer Dave & Friends, he brings humor, heart, and lots of energy to his performances and videos. In addition to his work as a children’s musician and ECE music educator, Dave has been teaching podcasting since 2014 with a focus on community arts, audio production, storytelling, and sound design. He is a senior program manager atYouth on Record, one of Colorado’s premier creative youth development organizations, where he manages the organization’sMedia Arts program, including the acclaimed Podcast Production Internship and a portfolio of youth-produced podcasts and video projects. Dave holds a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Rochester and an M.A. in Social and Cultural Foundations in Education from DePaul University.
