Scholarships and Donations

Would you like to join us this year but need some financial assistance?

You are not alone! Every year we support attendees with partial and full conference scholarships.

The best way to guarantee that this conference is the best ever is for YOU to be there! We want you at the conference. If a full or partial scholarship will allow you to attend, please submit your scholarship request by August 15th, 2026 for consideration.

Pete Seeger was often present at the early CMN Gatherings, and besides bunking, milling, and sitting in the audience with us, he also led workshops and gave Keynote addresses when asked.  He was an early participant in the production of Pass It On! in charge of "Letters to the Editor" during the 90's* * from Nancy Silber, longtime member of CMN and editor of Pass  It On! from 2001-2007

In 2014, in his honor, CMN established the Pete Seeger Scholarship Fund to help provide financial assistance to those who need to attend our annual conferences.  Needless to say, since 2014 the cost of  attending events has skyrocketed and financial assistance is critical for a number of our members.

Every scholarship recipient brings new experiences, perspectives, and talents into our community. Every attendee returns home with new ideas, resources, and inspiration that ultimately benefit children and families in their own communities.

This campaign is about making sure more people have a seat at the table. Please consider helping a community member attend this years conference, no donation too small!

We can also offer an installment payment plan. Reach out to joshf@cmnonline.org to set this up. Between August 3rd and August 10th contact please reach out to janearsham@gmail.com) All registrations need to be paid in full no later than September 15. Please use the "All You Need to Know Before Registering" doc below to help guide you through the process!
