ROSALIE MOSCOE LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE – a Place to Feel Laugh and Sing!
August, 2022, Beloved children’s singer and entertainer ROSALIE MOSCOE (of Jim & Rosalie fame) has launched her new children’s music website featuring two children’s albums with striking new covers, Journey to My World and Imagination Station. Her website features song lyrics, why she wrote the tunes, testimonials, and performance venues. Her music embodies values such as self-esteem, empowerment, and education using humor and fun. The albums are published on major streaming platforms – Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music.
Children’s Singer/Songwriter and Recording Artist, she is based in Toronto, Canada having recorded 5 children’s albums and was nominated for two Juno Awards for Best Children’s Album in Canada. Formerly of the singing duo Jim and Rosalie, she also published a children’s music and activity book.
She worked for 23 years with children and music in nursery schools, elementary schools, day camps and for the North York Public Library’s Music for Children classes (3 – 5-year-olds), Toronto, and performed in theaters and concert halls across Canada.Rosalie Studied voice with Bill Vincent of Voices & Company and with Rosemary Burns at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. She also studied many instruments throughout her life. Also, Rosalie studied improvision – Second City-style at Seneca College and studied creative writing at York University and song writing at Long & McQuade.
As a teacher/instructor, she taught adults at Sheridan College in Oakville, instructing undergrads in their ECE Program for a 16-week course, “Sparking Music and the Arts for Children”.
