Bio
Thank you for allowing me to introduce myself. I am a voting member of the Recording Academy and have recorded four released albums. I have been a public music teacher in the Northwest area of Washington and Alaska for over 30 years. Most of those years have been in elementary music in the Yakima, WA area. I curtently reach Fone Arts at Wide Hollow Elementary for West Valley School district in Yakima
I also perform jazz, blues and pop in oa duo as a performer locally at venues with my friend Bart Roderick known as Rond n' Bart.
My upcoming album I am working on is a Lullaby album for my grandchildren I am creating a album that puts the baby to sleep with the historically best known lullaby with Jim Kimo-West on guitar and a few other Grammy known featured guests. (Jim is a New Age Grammy winner known for his beautiful Hawaiian slack key guitar work as well as working his hard rock guitar for Weird Al.)
I’m attending my first children’s conference in Philadelphia in September and very excited to meet many of you and share about children and music
I've been a WMEA (Washington Music Education Association) member for many years and been a guest presenter as well as a member of Orff Chapters in the Northwest.
Through my attendance to the Grammy's over the last few years I have gotten to know many children's artists associated through this network and hope to travel to the September conference.
