Bio
Over the years, that path has taken me to concert halls, classrooms, conference rooms, recording studios, libraries, and community spaces. I've had the privilege of working as a children's recording artist, storyteller, educator, and university lecturer while remaining a lifelong learner. To some, those roles may seem quite different, but to me, they've always felt connected - hoping to make the world just a little bet better place - connecting a simple belief that stories and music help us make sense of ourselves and one another. They help us connect, learn, laugh, wonder, and sometimes even heal.

Currently, I continue that work through teaching, writing, community outreach, and creative projects like Francie Dillon's Comfy Couch Stories. I'm also increasingly interested in finding ways to support children, families, educators, and communities through music, storytelling, literacy, and shared experience.

After all these years, I still find myself doing much the same thing I've always done—taking what's inside and putting it out into the world in the hope that it might be useful, meaningful, or bring a little joy to someone else.

I'm grateful to be part of the Children's Music Network and look forward to learning from the stories, songs, and experiences of fellow members.
